The flowers of the variety are single, possess a strong fragrance, and are colored in light lilac or violet-blue tones, sometimes characterized as blue-white. The plant height is 20–25 cm. In scientific research, the variety is known for having the largest chloroplast genome size among a number of other hyacinths.

The variety is early-flowering; in open ground, flowering occurs in April-May. The plant is versatile in its use: suitable for planting in flower beds, growing in containers, and for cut flowers. The variety is suitable for winter forcing, starting from February.
