The variety is a hybrid obtained through interspecific hybridization of Buddleja davidii and Buddleja alternifolia. The main goal of breeding this plant was sterility or low fertility, which prevents its uncontrolled spread in the environment.
The plant is a compact shrub, reaching about 60 cm in height and 90 cm in width. It has pale green foliage and fragrant lavender-colored inflorescences, the flowering of which continues from early to late summer.
The variety is intended for ornamental gardening, including cultivation in containers, hanging baskets, and on patios. When grown in open ground, the plant may show sensitivity to adverse conditions or competition with other crops.
