The shrub is characterized by a compact, well-branched and rounded habit, reaching 0.80–1.20 m in height and width at maturity. A key feature is the dark, almost black foliage, which maintains its intense color even in the shade.
Flowers are gathered in globular inflorescences 10–15 cm in diameter. The petal color is white with a carmine-red margin, which by the end of the flowering period, lasting from June to September, takes on a copper-red hue. The plant requires humus-rich, moist, and well-drained soils.
The variety has vigorous growth and a stated winter hardiness down to -23 °C. The flower color may vary depending on the soil pH level.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
