Variety description

The plant habit is a compact, densely branched shrub with rigid shoots 0.5 to 1.2 m in height. A key feature is the dark color of the leaves, which varies depending on conditions from dark green and purple-red to burgundy and almost black, acquiring a dark red shade in autumn.
Inflorescences are of the 'lacecap' type (flat, corymbose) with sterile pink or red-purple flowers. Flowering begins in mid-June; the variety is capable of reblooming on current-year shoots. Due to its ability to form flowers on both old and young shoots, the plant is resistant to spring frosts.
The variety is intended for landscaping and is suitable for small gardens and container cultivation on terraces and balconies.
