Variety description

The plant forms a dense mound-like clump 15–25 cm in height and 30–45 cm in width. The fleshy succulent leaves are round or ovate with serrated edges. The foliage color changes during the season from gray-blue in spring to dark purple-black in mid-summer.
Star-shaped flowers of a raspberry-pink shade are gathered into large, flat, corymbose inflorescences. The flowering period occurs in late summer and early autumn. The plant stems are sturdy and do not fall apart during the season.
The variety possesses high resistance to powdery mildew and leaf rots, and tolerates poor soils and drought well. The plant is winter-hardy in USDA climate zones 4–9 and is preferred for cultivation in sunny areas as part of rock gardens, borders, or containers.
