The plant is a woody vine capable of reaching a height of 2.5 to 6 meters. The leaves are elliptic-ovate or heart-shaped. The vine is equipped with aerial adhesive roots, allowing it to attach to vertical surfaces without additional support.
Flowering occurs in June–July. Inflorescences are corymbose, about 15 cm in diameter. The flower color upon opening is coral-pink, eventually fading to cream-white or pink-cream. The variety is winter-hardy down to -25°C, suitable for vertical landscaping or as a groundcover plant.
