The plant has a rounded shape, reaching a height and width of about 1 meter by 10 years. Characteristic morphological features include dark, almost black shoots and original serrated leaves.
Flowering lasts throughout the summer. The variety is relatively heat-tolerant, with frost resistance of up to -15°C. It prefers partial shade and fresh acidic or neutral soils, and requires regular watering and spring sanitary pruning.
