The shrub reaches a height of 80 to 150 cm. The leaves are bright green, ovate, elliptical, or oval in shape. Large inflorescences have a diameter of about 20–25 cm, their color depends on soil acidity.

The variety has moderate heat tolerance and requires mandatory winter covering, as it withstands frosts down to –18 °C. It is used in landscape design for single and group plantings.
