Variety description

The deciduous shrub forms upright shoots and a hemispherical or rounded crown about 1.5 meters wide. Leaves are dark green, ovate, and have serrated edges. The plant blooms on the previous year's shoots from June to September or October.

Large spherical inflorescences reach 20–30 cm in diameter and are distinguished by "lace" petal edges. Flower color varies from pink to purple, with petals acquiring a deep blue hue in highly acidic soils.

The variety belongs to USDA hardiness zone 6. The plant is characterized as robust and is sought after for cutting, as the inflorescences retain their shape well and are suitable for use as dried flowers.
