The variety is a deciduous shrub with mophead-type inflorescences that have a spherical shape. The color of the flowers depends on the soil acidity: when grown in acidic soils, they acquire blue shades.

The plant is suitable for open field cultivation as part of garden compositions and borders, and can also be cultivated in containers. The variety requires regular watering and is sensitive to soil pH levels.
