The RIE 01 variety, known under the trade name You & Me Forever, is a compact upright or rounded deciduous shrub with a height of 100–120 cm. Leaves are dark green with distinct venation and coarsely serrated margins.

The plant forms large rounded inflorescences of double flowers on sturdy stems. Flowering is prolonged, covering the spring-summer period. In acidic soil, the flowers take on a blue hue, while in neutral or alkaline soil, they are pale pink.

The variety is used in landscaping, group plantings, container cultivation, as well as for cut flowers and dried flower arrangements. Partial shade and regular watering are recommended for cultivation.
