The compact shrub features dark green, broadly ovate leaves with serrated margins and distinct veining. The flowers are gathered in wide, hemispherical inflorescences. Depending on soil acidity and the presence of aluminum, the flower color varies, and by autumn, the petals acquire reddish and greenish tones.
The plant is suitable for garden planting, cutting, and use as dried flowers. For cultivation, sites ranging from full sun to partial shade with regular watering to maintain moderate soil moisture are preferred.
