Variety description

The variety has the trade name "Style Pink". The plant is a slow-growing shrub 50 to 100 cm in height with a crown diameter of about 1 m. A distinctive feature is the stiff shoots of a dark, almost black or burgundy color, which contrast with the glossy, dark green, egg-shaped foliage.

The flowering period lasts from June to September. The inflorescences are spherical, large, reaching 16 cm in diameter. The intensity of the bright pink color of the flowers depends on the acidity level of the soil. The variety is heat-loving and requires flower bud protection for the winter in frosty climates.

Due to its compact size, the variety is intended for the foreground of flower beds, group and solitary plantings, and also for container cultivation. The plant is sensitive to moisture stagnation in the soil.
