The plant reaches a height and width of about 1.5 meters. The shrub has dark green foliage and forms inflorescences ranging from 7.5 to 15 cm in size. The flowers are cup-shaped and white at the initial stage; as they mature, they enlarge, covering the fertile parts, and acquire a pinkish hue.

Flowering begins very early and lasts throughout the summer and autumn. The variety is intended for USDA hardiness zones 6a–9b. It prefers partial shade or sun, requires regular watering and rich, well-drained soils. Used in landscape design, not suitable for cutting.
