Variety description

The variety is an upright, branched shrub. Leaves are dark green, narrow-ovate, serrated, with reddish petioles; young leaves may have a bronze or purple tint, turning yellow in autumn.

The plant forms large, flat, lacecap-type white inflorescences; the flowering period occurs in summer. The variety is used in ornamental gardening for planting as a specimen or as a component of tree and shrub groups.
