Variety description

The plant forms dense clumps. The leaves are fleshy, obovate, with serrated margins, changing color from glaucous-green to reddish-purple as they grow.
Flowering occurs from August to October with dense corymbose inflorescences. The buds have a yellowish tint; upon opening, the flowers vary from creamy-yellow to pink and bronze.
The variety is drought-tolerant and prefers full sun and well-drained soils. In insufficient light or with excessive soil fertility, the stems are prone to lodging. Propagated vegetatively.
