Variety description

The plant is a compact bush 30 to 41 cm tall with upright shoots. The foliage has a rich smoky purple-blue, plum, burgundy, or dark charcoal color. The variety is resistant to lodging and maintains its bush shape without splaying.

Flowering occurs in late summer and early autumn with large pink inflorescences. The crop requires planting in full sun and the use of well-drained soils. Excessive application of organic fertilizers can negatively affect the compactness of the plant.

The variety is used in landscape design for flower beds, containers, rock gardens, gravel gardens, and xeriscapes. The plant is a honey plant that attracts bees and butterflies and is resistant to deer damage.
