Variety description

The plant reaches a height of 20–40 cm. The fleshy, dense leaves are obovate or oblanceolate; their color changes from greenish-lilac in spring to dark purple during growth. The stems are purple.

The flowers are light yellow with a greenish tint when opening, eventually acquiring an ochre or creamy-yellow tone, sometimes with a pinkish hue. The flowering period lasts from summer to autumn.

The variety is frost-resistant (USDA zone 4a, down to -31...-34 °C) and low-maintenance. It prefers well-drained soils and a sunny location. It is used in landscape design for borders, flower beds, rock gardens, and container cultivation.
