The plant reaches a height of about 100 cm. The variety is characterized as an abundantly flowering and abundantly fruiting ornamental shrub, not intended for agricultural or medicinal use.

The flowering period occurs in May–June; the flowers have a bright yellow color. The variety is a hybrid of Hypericum x inodorum and is not a medicinal species of St. John's wort.
