The variety is a hybrid obtained by crossing Hypericum androsaemum and Hypericum hircinum. The plant forms a compact bush with upright shoots, yellow flowers, and subsequent formation of ornamental berries.

The variety is used primarily as a cut crop for arranging bouquets, as well as an ornamental garden shrub.
