Variety description

The plant is a shrub with semi-evergreen or deciduous dark green lanceolate leaves, which may acquire a purple hue in the spring. Flowers are golden-yellow, cup-shaped, up to 6 cm in diameter, with long stamens; the flowering period lasts from June to September.
Bright red fruits are characterized by high durability; the fruiting period occurs in August–September. The variety is characterized by an upright habit, resistance to rust, and winter hardiness within zones 5–8 (down to -25°C). In regions with cold winters, pruning to 5–10 cm is recommended at the end of winter.
