The variety Bosafan belongs to the genus Hypericum, however, it is not Hypericum perforatum and is not used for pharmaceutical purposes. The variety is classified as an ornamental representative of the group of species Hypericum hircinum, Hypericum androsaemum or Hypericum x inodorum.
