The variety belongs to the species Hypericum inodorum and is grown primarily for stems with fruits, which are used by florists as a filler in bouquets. It is not a medicinal plant.

The plant possesses characteristics typical of decorative Hypericum species, reaching a height of 60 to 150 cm. The variety prefers sunny or partially shaded sites with well-drained soils and requires protection from waterlogging to prevent the development of grey mold.
