The plant reaches 60–90 cm in height and width. Leaves are leathery, elliptical in shape, dark green, and spineless. In the spring period, the shrub blooms with small greenish-white flowers.
The variety is female and produces black fruits in the presence of a male pollinator variety. The plant is capable of developing in both sun and partial shade, demonstrating high adaptability and resistance to winter burn.
