The Cameo Scarlet variety, also known as Cameo Scarlet Surprise Improved, belongs to the species Impatiens walleriana. In the period from 2008 to 2010, this variety was used as a model specimen in scientific experiments studying the effect of silicon on the morphological traits of ornamental crops.

Currently, the variety is not included in the active assortment of breeding companies. Due to the lack of a specific description from the originator, it is recommended to follow the general characteristics of Impatiens walleriana when growing plants of this type: preference for shady locations, moist well-drained soils, and sensitivity to heat.
