The variety is a mutation of the Rosebud Red variety. The flowers have a diameter of 3 to 5 cm; sometimes a characteristic light-colored “bead” of petals forms in the center. The leaves have a green center with a distinct white margin.

The plant is characterized by early and abundant flowering, beginning 5–7 weeks after planting. The bush is characterized by a bushy or semi-trailing growth habit. It is used as a pot plant and for decorating flower beds or hanging baskets.
