The variety belongs to the Impatiens walleriana group (Walleriana Group). Morphological traits are characterized by the presence of white flowers (color code White-999D), which do not have a scent.

The name Cameo White is also used for varieties of other plant species, in particular for columbine (Aquilegia flabellata) and chrysanthemums, which requires attention when selecting planting material.
