The Mimas variety is a vegetatively propagated hybrid obtained by cuttings, which ensures complete genetic identity of daughter plants to the mother specimen.

The plant has a vigorous habit and forms an abundantly flowering bush. The flowers have a distinct fluorescent lilac color.

Cultivation requires loose soils rich in organic matter. The variety is more demanding of lighting compared to traditional impatiens species and is capable of tolerating exposure to sunlight for half the day, however, it requires protection from extreme heat.
