The variety is a dwarf bulbous perennial with narrow linear dark green leaves. The flowers, with a diameter of about 60 mm, have a pure white color with a characteristic golden-yellow stripe on the falls, sometimes with bluish dots.
The plant is early-flowering and characterized by high winter hardiness. The variety is sensitive to excessive soil moisture and requires good drainage, and the bulbs are prone to splitting after flowering, which may lead to a lack of annual flowering.
