The variety is a natural mutation of the 'Meadowlark' variety. The plant reaches a height of 60–90 cm with a proportional shrub width. The leaves are dark green, oval-shaped, and change color to shades of red, orange, and purple at the end of the growing season.
Flowering occurs in late spring to early summer. Small white flowers are gathered in narrow drooping racemose inflorescences. The shrub adapts to various soil types, including moist and clay soils, tolerates conditions from full sun to partial shade, and exhibits resistance to deer damage.
