Variety description

The variety is a spontaneous mutation (sport) discovered in 1989 in cultivated plantings of the 'Nora Grant' variety. The plant is characterized by a relatively slow growth rate. In Australian sources, the variety is also known under the trade name 'White Malay'.

The flowers are white with thin pink edges and rare streaks on the petals, which are less recurved than those of the parent form. The inflorescences are large, with a high number of buds. When grown from three cuttings in a 25.5 cm pot, the plant reaches a height of up to 60 cm within six months.

The plant is thermophilic and sensitive to frost; it is used in decorative gardening and landscaping in regions with warm climates.
