Variety description

The plant is a densely branched shrub with a height ranging from 75–90 cm to 1.2–1.8 m. The leaves are oblong or oval in shape with a shiny leathery surface, while young leaves often have a bronze hue that turns dark green with age.

Small tubular flowers are gathered into dense spherical inflorescences, colored in shades from light yellow and peach to orange-red. Flowering can be continuous under favorable conditions. The plant is thermophilic, requires well-drained slightly acidic soils and protection from frost.
