Variety description

The variety belongs to the group of moderately winter-hardy plants. During the winter dormancy period and the onset of vegetation, 40% to 60% of generative and vegetative organs are preserved. The level of drought tolerance is assessed as above average based on indicators of water regime and water-holding capacity.

By flowering type, the variety is protogynous, where female flowers mature earlier than male ones. The variety is included in the walnut collection fund in Crimea and is recommended as a parent form for breeding work to develop new varieties resistant to abiotic stress factors.
