The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and forms a neat, upright pyramidal crown. The variety is early-bearing, with fruit-bearing beginning 3–5 years after planting. Leaves bloom late, which allows the plant to avoid damage from late spring frosts. The variety shows high winter hardiness and resistance to bacteriosis and anthracnose, and also tolerates windy sites well.
Fruits ripen in the second to third ten-day period of October. Nuts are rounded, weighing about 12–13 g, with an average kernel percentage of about 44%. The kernel is light in color, fills the shell well, and is easily extracted whole. The variety is used both for nut production and as an effective pollinator for other varieties, and is also suitable for agroforestry systems.
