The variety has a late budbreak period, which reduces the risk of damage from spring frosts, and the harvest takes place in October. Lateral-type bearing occurs along the shoots; the tree is characterized by vigorous growth and forms a broad canopy.

The fruits are round or oval in shape with a diameter of 3.4 to 3.8 cm and have a smooth shell. The light-colored oil-rich kernel has a mild flavor and good keeping quality. The variety is often grafted onto hybrid rootstocks to increase resistance to root diseases.

Suitable for commercial cultivation, culinary use, and oil production. In commercial orchards, the variety is used as a pollinator for the Franquette, Fernor, and Fernette varieties.
