The tree is medium-sized with a dense, semi-erect crown. It enters into bearing in the 6–8th year, with the fruiting type being primarily terminal. The variety shows resistance to downy mildew and Cydia pomonella.
Fruits are elongated, weighing 11–14 g, of medium size. The shell is of medium quality and easy to separate; the kernel is light-colored with a yield of 40–44%. The variety is often used as a pollinator for other varieties, such as Chandler, and itself requires pollination by Ron de Montignac or Melanaise varieties.
