The variety was obtained as a result of controlled pollination in 2003 using a short-stemmed female parent and a male parent of the variety «Purple Jaqueline».

The plant is classified as having purple flowers. The main criteria during its breeding were the size and color of the inflorescences, as well as the plant's keeping quality during storage and transportation.

The variety is intended for use as an ornamental indoor flowering plant.
