The variety is used as a pot plant. In breeding practice, Mount Loa was used as a female parent form in the creation of other varieties. In literature, it is more often mentioned as genetic material for developing new forms rather than as an independent subject with a detailed description of agronomic indicators.

The plant's flowers have a red-orange color. Compared to more modern varieties, Mount Loa is distinguished by less pronounced branching and a more open inflorescence shape. Data on disease resistance or specific quality parameters are absent from open publications.
