The cultivar group is characterized by the formation of a rosette of lobed leaves with wavy edges. The color is predominantly light green, although varieties with a reddish tint exist. The leaves have a delicate, buttery texture and succulence, while being less prone to bitterness as temperatures rise.
The vegetation period from emergence to technical maturity is 35–40 days. The plants are resistant to bolting and are adapted for cultivation in open field, greenhouses, and containers. The varieties are used primarily fresh, as well as a decorative element for dish presentation.
