The variety Adriatica Nr 3 (sometimes referred to as Adriatica Nr 2 and Adriatica Nr 3) is a crisphead lettuce. In scientific literature, it is described as a sample having a specific type of seed storage protein spectrum, in which component 5 is absent. This feature is used as a systematizing trait for the classification of the VIR collection.
Other agronomic characteristics, including maturity group, plant parameters, and disease resistance, are not presented in the publications. The variety is considered primarily as an object of genetic research.
