The variety belongs to the Gem type and is characterized by the ability to break into many leaves when cut once at the base. The plant forms an open head structure with uniform green-colored leaves. The ripening period varies from 60 to 85 days; the variety is slow to bolt.
The plant possesses high resistance to downy mildew (races Bl:29-40EU, Bl:7-10US) and lettuce aphid (Nr:0). The produce is equipped with Knox technology, which slows down the oxidation of cuts, extending shelf life. The variety is suitable for sale as whole heads and for processing.
