The variety forms long, uniform-width leaves with dense veins and characteristic savoying. The thin and flexible midrib of the leaf helps minimize damage during processing and extends shelf life.
The plant is intended for the fresh market and industrial processing. Due to its open habit, the variety is suitable for mechanized harvesting, and the leaves separate easily after cutting.
The variety possesses resistance to downy mildew (races 16–27, 30–32), lettuce aphid, and lettuce mosaic virus.
