The variety is a sufficiently tall plant that forms a wide head of a light green, so-called "green-blond" color. The leaves are distinguished by an outward-curved margin and a less glossy surface compared to a number of other Romaine varieties.
The plant is a high-yielding variety suitable for cultivation in the spring, summer, and autumn periods. According to historical descriptions, the variety is sensitive to tipburn and mosaic virus.
