The variety possesses the Knox™ Core genetic trait, an innovative technology aimed at slowing down the oxidation and browning of tissues at the cut site of the head or leaves. Thanks to this property, the lettuce retains a fresh appearance longer after harvesting and processing due to a reduction in the intensity of exudate release at the cut.
The variety is intended for professional cultivation where the marketable appearance of the produce and storage duration are important, which is especially relevant for the fresh-cut segment.
