Variety description

The variety belongs to the butterhead type of the Salanova series. The leaf rosette is semi-erect, round, 12–15 cm tall and 15–18 cm in diameter, with a weight of 115–200 g. The leaves are elliptical, slightly blistered, with an entire margin and buttery texture. A special feature is the high leaf count: when the base is cut, the rosette breaks into many leaves of uniform size.
Intended for open field and protected cultivation, including hydroponics. The variety possesses high resistance to downy mildew (races Bl:29–40EU) and lettuce aphid (Nr:0). It also shows resistance to bolting and necrosis, and develops a strong root system.
