The variety is intended for cultivation in open field and protected cultivation. It is suitable for production in spring and autumn periods, and is cultivated year-round in a number of regions. The variety is oriented toward the fresh produce market and industrial processing.
The plant possesses high resistance (HR) to races 29–41EU of downy mildew (Bremia lactucae) and intermediate resistance (IR) to lettuce mosaic virus (LMV:1). By its characteristics, the variety is close to the Mellita type, but has improved resistance indicators.
