The Lollo Bionda variety type is an early-maturing plant with a period from emergence to technical maturity of 35–55 days. The lettuce forms a loose and rounded rosette consisting of light green leaves that are strongly frilled at the edges.
The plant is characterized by relative resistance to diseases and bolting. The leaves have a crisp texture and a mild, fresh taste. The variety is intended for fresh consumption, use in salads, and dish decoration; it is cultivated both in open field and in protected cultivation.
