The variety belongs to the Lollo Rossa type and is characterized by dark red, finely curled leaves. The plant forms an upright, open-type rosette, which facilitates harvesting.
The variety is intended for the fresh market and is suitable for processing. The plant possesses high resistance to downy mildew, including modern races (BL 29–41 EU), as well as good resistance to marginal leaf burn.
