The variety belongs to the baby leaf type and forms very firm, thick leaves with a finely curled shape. The unique 3D structure of the leaf provides volume to ready-made salad mixes in packaging. The taste qualities are characterized as nutty or sweetish.
The plant possesses high resistance to downy mildew (races Bl: 29-41EU) and Fusarium wilt (Fol:4), as well as intermediate resistance to lettuce mosaic virus (LMV: 1). The variety is distinguished by high structural firmness, which ensures good transportability and keeping quality after harvest.
The variety is suitable for cultivation in open field and protected cultivation and has a wide harvest window. The produce is intended for fresh consumption and use in mixes in bags and trays. There is also a red-leaf version of the variety called Red Crispita II.
