Morphologically, the plant is a lettuce with light green palmate leaves 20–25 cm in length. The leaf blade is slightly wavy and has distinct lobed and serrated edges. The variety forms a head with a diameter of 25 to 30 cm.
The plant possesses high cold resistance, however, it shows sensitivity to early bolting. In warm climate conditions, sowing is recommended starting from mid-September; in colder regions, starting from February. It is traditionally consumed fresh.
